BSOSC Horse Farming-Logging Plans

BSOSC Horse Farming-Logging Plans

Postby jpf1030 » Mon Feb 15, 2010 1:04 am

Our goal in this BSOSC subcommittee is to acquire horse farming livestock and equipment. We have several BSOSC members offering their tillable land for BSOSC group utilization for raising the most critically important crops for self-reliance viability. If we can get the livestock and equipment needed for horse farming and logging, we will have classes for all interested to learn these skills. If you have interest and or horses or equipment, we need a subcommittee chairman for horse farming/logging. Please contact Mac McQuaid or myself and we can get things going on this...jpf

There is a horse farming equipment auction coming up in Oregon. I have a sickle bar mower at my place. I have no idea whether on not it is usable. Someone in the know should take a look at it.
