Culver Nuclear Shelters

Here is a great way to make a nice shelter out of using a culvert as well.

Their prices are high I think, but if all else fails Logs are easy to find and make the one Jeff posted about using logs to create a bomb shelter with.

Basically that is one I will build. A log underground bomb shelter using a gully. I have one that is about 20 feet across and 15 feet high which would work great for plenty of space and its 100 feet long or longer. Log walls lag bolted together with a log ceiling lag bolted together (treated with water resistant) and with 3 feet or more dirt on top.

I think JPF also covered many shelters, but I am not sure if he covered these in his links or posts. Anyway, if he did, I will post it again. Just in case.

I wonder if anyone found anything on making a basement into a bomb shelter.

Anyway, just more ideas to work with.
You Must Survive. So prepare for it.
